SCHOOL LUNCHES

There will be no school lunch orders tomorrow (Friday 5) due to the whole school beach fun day.  Please make sure your child/ren have plenty to eat and drink and are sunsmart.

CRAFT DAY

Fundraising for our World Vision Sponsor child who lives in South America. 
Titahi Bay School Council is holding a Craft Day on Friday 26 March from 11.00—12.30pm.  If it is fine it will be held on the middle court.  If it is wet it will be held in the hall.  All crafts will be made by the children and will cost 50c each to buy.

SCHOOL TRIATHLON

Don’t forget the School Triathlon is on this Saturday 6 March starting 8.30am down at Titahi Bay beach.   See you all there.

SCHOOL RAFFLES

A reminder that the raffles for the Hurricanes and Lions rugby original photos $1 and the pillow with heaps of vouchers $2 are on sale at the school office as a fundraiser for the Triathlon.

GIFTED CHILDREN

Here’s your chance to go and try out One Day School,  for gifted learners.  On Friday 19 March sessions will be held from 9.00—11.45am for children aged 6-8 years and from 12.45—3.30pm for children aged 9-12 years.   Sessions will be held at the One Day School classroom at Rangikura School, 95 Conclusion St, Ascot Park, Porirua.  The cost is $30 per child.  Parents welcome too.  For more information please phone Shirley on 232-3523.

BOARD OF TRUSTEES ELECTIONS

Now is the time to start thinking about putting your name forward to be on the School’s Board of Trustees.  The election date is 7 May 2010.  Nomination forms have been sent home.

SCHOOL SHOW

Murri-Kulcha in Education will be coming to our school on Thursday 18 March at 1.30pm.  The cost of this is $3.50 per child to be paid to the class teacher as soon as possible.

CHILD’S WORK

Yesterday Gloaming Hill went in flames of rage.  Everyone evacuated from Gloaming Hill.  The fire looked like souls coming out of the devil’s creepy hand.  Nan saw cracks in the ground.  When the fire stopped, nan saw a dead playground.

BOOK CLUB

All book club orders are to be back at the school office by Friday 19 March.

SCHOOL PHOTOS

School photos will be held on Wednesday 10 March.  School  photo envelopes have been sent home.  A separate envelope is required for each child.  Please return to school office before photo day.

TAWA JUNIOR HOCKEY
