24 June 2010# 11 SCHOOL SHOW Circus Maximus is coming to our school in Term 3 on 2 August at 2pm. The cost of this is $4.50 per child. Please pay to classroom teacher for this show. END OF TERM School will close next Friday 2 July at 3pm and will reopen again on Monday 19 July. There will be no school lunch orders on Friday 2 July. The two main prizes ‘Leap Frog Scribble’ and ‘Write’ have been donated by K-Mart and the School would like to thank them for their sponsorship. DUFFY THEATRE Duffy Theatre will be at the School on Wednesday 30 June. Cassie from the Duffy Theatre is going to be on ‘What Now’ this Sunday. SCHOOL SHOW Unfortunately the school show which was to be held on 24 June has again been cancelled. The Junior Syndicate is having a show on Tuesday 29 June at 9.30am. The money will go towards that. The Senior’ Syndicate is having a show on 17 September at 1.30pm and the money will go towards that. SCHOOL BANKING ASB enrolment forms for school banking are available at the office if you would like to enrol your child. SCHOOL DRIVEWAY Please do not use the school driveway to drop your children at school or to pick them up after school. This is a safety issue—help keep our children safe. BASKETBALL Rep trials are coming up for any basketball players wanting to play in the under 13’s boys and girls teams for the Porirua Basketball Association. Eligible players must be 12 years or under for the entire 2010 calendar year. If the player turns 13 during the year they are too old. Details: Te Rauparaha Arena, Tuesday 22 June 4pm—5.30pm. WELLINGTON SCHOOL OF CRICKET Week 1, 5-9 July. Standard Holiday Programme (SHP) for children between the ages 6-10 years. Intermediate cricket clinics (ICC) for children between the ages 11-14. Advance Skill Development Clinics (ASDC) for children over the ages 12.
