SCHOOL  SHOW

Circus Maximus is coming to our school on 2 August at 2pm.  The cost of this is $4.50 per child.  Please pay to classroom teacher for this show.

ARTSPLASH DANCE 2

Tickets for Artsplash are now available at the school office and cost $4 each.  The show begins at 8pm.  The doors will open at 7.30pm.  It would be appreciated if your students and parents did not call out/cheer etc. when a dance is being performed as this can be quite off putting for performers and is not the sort of behaviour they want to encourage.

SCHOOL CELLPHONE

If your child is going to be away from school or you need to leave a message at the office please remember that we have a school cellphone—number 027-757-0272.

REGIONAL PUBLIC HEALTH

Winter is now with us and there are a few things which are easy to do that can help

protect you against getting influenza.

·                Clean your hands often.  Either wash with soap and water for at least 20 seconds or use alcohol-based cleaners.  If you use soap and water remember to dry your hands well.

·                Avoid touching your eyes, nose or mouth as germs are spread this way.

·                Try to avoid contact with sick people.

If you become sick with influenza:

·                Stay home from work or school.

·                Avoid close contact with other people

·                Cover your nose and mouth with tissue when you cough and sneeze.  Throw the tissue in the rubbish.

·                Wash your hands regularly, particularly after you cough or sneeze.

·                Drink plenty of fluids

·                Keep areas clean.  Disinfect surfaces within your home to kill germs.  Read the labels to make sure the disinfectant kills germs on surfaces.  Keep a close eye on people who are sick as they can get very unwell quickly and need medical help.
